Endings and Beginnings

This post has been written and re-written in my head several times.  Beginnings are fun, exciting, challenging and endings are typically a bit sad.  But for every beginning there has to be an ending.  When we moved to Rockport 5 years ago, I was really seeking God about what His plan for me was.  I had been taking pictures, however really just of my family and a couple of close friends.  As I began to really seek God, He opened doors and I knew starting a photography business  was something I was supposed to do. I started in April of 2011 and it has been fun, exciting, and challenging.  This journey has been very fulfilling and rewarding.  I love creating, I love capturing special moments of families, pregnant mommas, graduating seniors, and kiddos.  I met some incredible people and seen some incredible places around our little beach town.

With all of that being said, an ending has come.  Not for my business, rather my location.  Our family will be moving to San Antonio in just a few short weeks.  We know God has called us.  So we have a beginning to look forward to.

In considering our move and my business I have prayed about what my next step should look like.  We are very much in the middle of packing and just all of the things that go along with relocating, so I am not exactly sure what my next step will be.  There are just some business related things I need to figure out and then exactly where I want Tiffany Harris Photography head in the future.  I am excited about some ideas that I have and look forward to sharing those.

I know it’s very obvious things have been quiet around here and will probably remain that way for a bit longer.   I look forward to sharing more as I know more.  It has been a blessing serving the community of Rockport and the surrounding area for these last four years.  I am both sad for the ending and excited for the new beginning God has.

Blessings,

Summer Recap {Family Photography~Rockport, Texas area}

Fall is well underway, but the summer is still on my mind.  Of course, temperatures here in South Texas are still summeresque.  I had a wonderful summer, lots of fun family time with a sprinkling of photo sessions.  Here are a few images from some wonderful families I had the privilege of working with.

The “S” Family

The "S" Family

The “R’ Family

And lastly, the “L” Family

I love to see the different stages that these families are in.  They were absolutely wonderful to work with.

As the days grow shorter, school is in full swing and November is just a few days away….it is the perfect season to update your family portraits.   Please contact me at 361-444-3404 or tharrisphoto@gmail.com.
